Ever consider you could learn Spanish and transform your entire life? Lots of people have acted on the idea and done just that. The majority never get through the daydream stage. Several get lost in the negatives, fear of the unknown, and will not get around to making positive steps.
Let's just hold on here now. We just took on a large serving of negatives in that first paragraph. Let us look at three excellent reasons why you need to learn Spanish.
Firstly, in its favor, let me point out that Spanish is spoken by a minimum of an predicted 350 million people all over the planet. Sure, I recognize your objection that learning a new language takes time and effort, it calls for will power and self control. What you say is true, I agree, but still it will be well worth the effort! Consider the advantages you will have when you'll be able to converse with the local people when you go on holiday - no more being treated like a dumb tourist.
Second off, You really will have to consider that learning a 2nd language like Spanish also enhances your Resume - you will find a lot of work out there searching for multilingual individuals and Spanish opens doorways to the whole Latin American continent and a huge part of the US, not to mention Spain itself.. And, in addition, consider that Spanish is a gorgeous language, the language of passion - surely that can't hurt either.
Third and lastly, you will get an improved vocabulary in English at the same time. As both Spanish and English is from a Latin source, the Latin roots are at the base of many fancy words in English, providing you a better language skill in your native language for no cost.. That'll most likely result in you sounding both more clever and educated - and who would not want that!. And, also, on top of that, you might become interested in the Latin lifestyle when you understand more about it, falling in love with the music and the traditions like so many before you. Salsa, flamenco, steaming hot dancing and fantastic food - need I say more!
As you consider the good reasons and evaluate them, I anticipate that you will have to acknowledge that a convincing case can be made for thinking of how you can learn Spanish.
So, what's your opinion? Are those benefits tempting? Maybe you really should learn Spanish!
