Beer With Buddies: Make The Bachelor Party One He'll Always Remember

A bachelor party, like the best man speeches examples, is more about tradition that it is about a man's last night as a "free" man. Generally, a bachelor party is pretty open to interpretations and the wishes of the Groom. Talk to the Groom and ask him what sort of party he'd like to have, and listen to him. You're probably one of the people that knows the Groom the best, when it comes to planning an awesome Bachelor party, follow what you know.

Whatever you plan for the bachelor party is open to a whole realm of possibilities. Bachelor parties hold the reputation of being drenched in alcohol and populated by a crowd of strippers, but this doesn't apply to all men. Once again, make sure you know what the Groom has in mind. If he prefers to spend the night playing pool and drinking beer, don't rent out a huge party house with a topless completely female staff and a team of bartenders.

You want to make sure you spend some time planning if you want to throw the Groom an awesome party. Select a good date; a weekend is probably your best bet. Find a good place to hold it, whether it's a VIP room in a restaurant or you're renting out a whole club. Make a guest list, and be sure to communicate with these people enough time in advance so they can come. Take into consideration what kind of menu you're going to have. If you need to get catering or a bartender, make sure you book it enough time in advance. If people are going to be drinking, you might want to think about hiring a limo or some friends to take them back to their houses. You do not want them to be out driving drunk.

More and more parties are being combined to include both the Groom and the Bride. Bachelor parties can be uncomfortable to talk about with a Bride, especially if she doesn't think strippers qualify as legitimate entertainment. If the Groom wants to hold a party with his Bride-to-be, don't get mad. All that means is that the girls there are the friends of the Bride, as opposed to topless waitresses.

As the big day approaches, make sure to get plenty of sleep and get ready, it'll probably be a pretty long day. You are going to play a very special part in the Groom's wedding as the Best Man, so be proud of that. This is one of the most defining moments in any person's life, and you were picked to participate in it. There is no shame in bringing some tissues. Of course YOU aren't going to cry, but the Groom's mother might. So there is no harm in being prepared.

When it's time for you to make your best man speeches brother, remember to be sincere. This is your chance to thank the Groom for choosing you and how much you value your relationship with him. Remember to practice, practice, and practice some more, but don't memorize it word for word. Don't get up there and try to remember every rule or tip you've ever heard for making your best man speech successful. The main goal is to be natural and passionate. If you fumble a little bit, don't panic, everyone knows that your job is a tough one. Even professional speakers fumble from time to time. No one is expecting you to write a speech for the President. Just relax, be yourself, and have a little fun. You're allowed.
